Can the JACE-8000 run Niagara 5?
No. Tridium says the JACE-8000 will not be upgradable to Niagara 5; the JACE-9000 can move to N5 (FAQ).
Can I still order a JACE-8000?
Outside Europe, until December 31, 2026, subject to availability. A last order is not guaranteed.
End of hardware support
Planned for July 2028 (Tridium newsletter; also reported by Building Controls Group). Niagara 4 software support is a separate date: see Niagara 4 end of support.
Replacement path: JACE-9000
Plan new or replacement controllers on the JACE-9000 if you want an N5 path. OEM-branded controllers may follow different dates; ask your vendor.
Related end of life: Edge 10
