When Is Niagara 5 Released? Early Access, Beta and the December 2026 GA Target

Short answer: As of October 30, 2026, Tridium has not announced Niagara 5 general availability (GA). Tridium's current N5 FAQ gives December 2026 as the target for Niagara 5.0 GA. Early Access for system integrators was planned for July 2026, and Tridium posted on July 29, 2026 that "Niagara 5 Early Access has started!" A beta was planned for September 2026. We found no Tridium source saying the beta has started; Tridium was still inviting beta sign-ups in its July 2026 newsletter.

Why we can't confirm the beta: the latest Tridium newsletter we could open is July 2026. We could not find August, September or October 2026 newsletters at Tridium's usual addresses.

We go by the current Tridium FAQ. The GA target moved from Q3 2026 (July 2025 FAQ) to December 2026. OneSight's Q4 2026 fits with December.
Announced Niagara 5 features
These are announced, not shipped: a Java 25 foundation; Workbench UI and UX changes, including dark mode; an MSI installer for the Supervisor; and mandatory module and program code signing. Sources: Tridium Niagara timeline and the Tridium LinkedIn post.
What it means for Niagara 4.15

Tridium targets general availability for December 2026. As of October 30, 2026 it has not announced GA.
